IT CAN BE HARD TO PICK OUT WHAT TO WEAR ON A NORMAL DAY…SO HOW IN ARE YOU TO CHOOSE WHAT TO WEAR FOR SENIOR PHOTOS?
You know, the pictures that will be forever used by your mom, family, etc. And let's not forget that they will be memorialized in your high school yearbook! I mean no big deal right? HA! I hope that this post will be a guide for you in helping you select what to wear.. How many outfits you’ll choose will ultimately depend on your package with your photographer — usually anywhere from 1-4 outfits.
At a minimum
I suggest that you choose, at the minimum, a more formal outfit (perhaps a dress or skirt) and a more casual one …maybe jeans or shorts. It’s up to you, of course but diversity never hurts in photo sessions! Neutrals, denim, earth tones and more subtle prints always photography well.
Dress for the season
If it’s fall, you’ll probably want layers, a sweater, boots, etc. If it is summer, you’ll want to wear lighter materials. Dress
Accesories
Don't forget about the accessories! Your accessories are a great way to add some flavor and add depth to your images. Bring along different jewelry for each outfit, even thinking about hair accessories, belts, scarves/vests, etc. I suggest bagging them separately in a ziplock bag with each outfit so you remember what you wanted to wear with each outfit.

Consider your hobbies
Any sports, music, or other activities you’re involved in right now will likely change in college - so this is a great way to capture you doing what you love & spend time participating in! Dance, sports, with your pets, or even something you hope to pursue in your future.

What did I forget?
Let me know if you think there is something else I should include in my list. In the meantime look through my portfolio for more ideas!
